Starting in September, our principal Dr. Lowery will hold a monthly lunch event called "Pizza with the Principal". Students who are interested in sharing their thoughts, ideas, and/or concerns with the Principal during lunch time may sign up in the Main Office for a chance to participate. "Pizza with the Principal" is an avenue for students' voices to be heard. Each month from the sign-up sheet, the Principal will randomly select a small group of students to meet, chat and eat pizza. All students are encouraged to sign up.
We are taking sign ups for the September event now. A new sign up takes place in the Main Office each month. Come by and put your name on the list! Pizza with the Principal dates:

For those of you new to Chamblee, many College Admissions officers visit CCHS during the school year to meet our students. Last year, 85 different colleges sent a representative to talk with interested students here at CCHS. Seniors and Juniors with a particular interest in a college or university should come by the Counseling Office and get a College Visit Pass at least three days before the visit. The College Visit Pass must be signed by the teacher whose class the student will miss during the visit time and the student is responsible for making up any missed assignments. The visits are for 30 minutes each. The college admissions representative presents information about their school and the students attending can ask questions and learn more about the university.
Look for the College Visit Calendar posted outside the Counseling Office, as well as on the CCHS website. Additional visits will be added and posted as they are scheduled throughout the year. The full September Visit calendar will be posted here in the next Bulldog Bulletin. If you need additional information, please contact the Counseling Office at 678-676-6932.

Dr Lowery asks that all parents and volunteers record their engagement/volunteer time at CCHS on a new form developed to keep track of all the great work our volunteers do for our school. Please click this link to document your volunteer activities in support of our Bulldogs. Once you've filled out the form, be sure to "bookmark" the web page so you can return again and again to log future hours. Thanks to all parents, guardians and friends of CCHS for your assistance! We appreciate you!
